Transfer Running Times
Because films come in different formats that are often shot at different
frames rates, it is very difficult to exactly measure how long a
film order's total running time will be. For estimate purposes
only, here is a chart showing the average running time
for the various film formats in fifty
foot reels.

Film Viewer Program
For customers desiring to view and organize their films before they
are transferred to video, the lab has regular 8, super 8 and 16mm
film viewers available for use at the lab. Unfortunately, because
of the shortage of working film viewers, we cannot guarantee that
viewers are available for
in-home use. Please inquire for availability. If
you are interested in viewing your film, please call ahead to make
an appointment.
All film transfers include:
Master to DV (digital videotape) and 1 copy on either DVD or VHS
Library storage box
Cleaning and conditioning of film
Splicing onto larger reels as needed
Minor
film repair
Editing out black and clear film (sections of approx. 2 seconds or
more)
SMPTE color bars (industry standard) at beginning
Opening and closing titles for a more professional look
Monitoring
and adjustments from start to finish
